On the 14th of November in 1928 in the small town of Embry, MS, a daughter was born to Lanzo Pittman and Lennan Hill.
Mrs. Lallie Brantley, 88, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to all passed away peacefully on August 6, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora. She was proceeded in death by two brothers: Joe Turner and Livis Pittman and two sisters: Mavis Suggs and Vialee McBride.
Mother Lallie Brantley was a gentle, kind, and humble woman, who served as a devoted member of the Westend Household of Faith church in Eupora, MS. Aside from her service in the church, Mother Brantley worked in the kitchen at Eupora Hospital as a dietitian until her retirement, and she continued to care for other by sitting and tending to the elderly in Eupora.
In 1955, Lallie married Mollies Patterson and this union lasted until his passing in 1979. Later, on January 9, 1982, she married Tobie Brantley, which lasted until his death in 1988.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Kenneth (Mary) Pittman of Kilmichael, MS. Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren. Two brothers L. J. Pittman of Eupora, MS and J. C. Pittman of Detroit, MI. Several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
