To the family,
I learned just today of Steve's passing. I had to comment for my own heavy heart and to let you, the family know I'm praying for your heavy hearts. I worked at Delta with Steve. We met around 98/99 and I was instantly drawn to his laugh and positive spirit. I don't have one memory of him that doesn't end with a laugh. We lost touch a few years back but I thought of him often. I am sure you know how special he was, he loved life and lived it to the fullest. His smile was contagious. He was a true friend to me, he always had my back. Tonight I will mourn my friend and I wish the family all the best. We are all better to have known such a special person that left way to soon. Peace be with you.

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a beloved son and father! I was a co -worker with him at Expressjet,  and there was never a dull moment! He will truly be missed! Rest on my brother!  I send my deepest sympathy to the Gary family.

I served with Stephen from 1992 to 1994, with the 6/6 Cav. in Germany. Though many of us have reconnected with each other, Stephen was one many of us have never found. I am truly sorry for your lost, and pray your family finds peace as he watches over you. He was a good solider, and a even better man. God bless
