Stephen "Steve" Gerald Gary

Stephen Gerald Gary was born on January 21, 1972 in Eupora, MS to Mr. Willie B. and Charlease Gary. He joined Liberty United Methodist Church at an early age. He graduated from Eupora High School in 1991 and then enlisted into the United States Army where he was honorably discharged in 1997. He then began his aviation career at Delta Air Lines and Express Jet. Stephen enjoyed playing basketball, being a M.C., spending time with his children, family and friends. He was especially known for being the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mr. Charlie and Lula Gary and maternal grandparents Mr. Willie and Mima Bingham.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Parents – Mr. Willie B. and Charlease Gary; Brother – Tony Gary (Brittany) all of Eupora, MS; Three children – Nashaunte and Nylah Byrdsong-Gary (mother Nakia) of Fairburn, GA; Braxton Gary (mother Kathyrn) of Marietta, GA; Nephews – Trae and Jaleb Gary, niece – Jasmine Gary, great-nephew Zae Gary all of Eupora, MS. Significant other Sonya McKeever of Athens, GA; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
