Tony James, Jr., affectionately known as Jay Jay was born on February 17, 1989 in Winona, MS to Tony James and Shelia Gayden McGee. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William (Bro) Ward and Annette James and maternal grandparents Jerry (Hoss) and Dorothy Gayden.
Jay Jay professed his faith in Christ at an early age and joined Vaiden Hill M. B. Church.
Jay Jay attended Hathorn Elementary and J. Z. George High School. He had a kind spirit, loving heart, and a gentle manner. He never met a stranger anywhere he went.
Jay Jay was a hard worker and was always determined to make his own money. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and getting on social media sites.
Jay Jay leaves to cherish memories his loving parents, Fred and Shelia McGee, and Tony and Sybil James of Vaiden, MS. Four sisters, Tamekia (Dexter) Buchanan of San Diego, CA, Tampirie Wade of Hutchinson, KS, April James and Shaquira Gayden of Vaiden, MS. Two brothers, Antonio James and Demarion McGee of Vaiden, MS. Four nephews, Joshua Buchanan of San Diego, CA, Quistion and Avante Wade of Hutchinson, KS and Logan Gayden of Vaiden, MS. One niece, Aaliyah James of Vaiden, MS. His great grandmother, Viola Rimmer of Milwaukee, WI. He also leaves numerous step-brothers, step-sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
