Bettie Jean Butts

Services for Ms. Bettie Jean Butts will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Ed Roberts Chapel of Remembrance.

Ms. Butts, 73, of Duck Hill passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Ms. Butts was preceded in death by two sons, Earl Butts and James C. Butts.

She is survived by four sons, Dwayne Butts of Phenix City, AL; Dennis Butts of  Duck Hill, MS; Jeffrey Butts of Kilmichael, MS; and Darron Butts of Seattle, WA; three daughters, Frances Butts of Seattle, WA; Gloria Butts of Federal Way, WA; and Sharron Butts of Kilmichael, MS; two brothers, Porter Butts of Chicago, IL; and Charles Butts of Eupora, MS; five sisters, Ruby Hill of Vardaman, MS; Minnie Davis of Kilmichael, MS; Hattie Hopkins of Winona, MS; Corrine Butts and Jimmie Ruth Roby of Kimichael, MS; twenty-eight  grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.   

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017, 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Family hour will begin at 5:00 P.M. at Roberts and Sons Mortuary in Winona. Reverend Claude Horton will be the Eulogist.

Interment will follow in the Old Grocer’s Cemetery.
