Dorothy Jean (English) Turner

Mrs. Dorothy Turner, 64, passed away during service at Pinkney Grove Baptist Church on March 19, 2017.

Mrs. Turner was a domestic worker for all her life and an active member at Austin Chapel Church of God In Christ in Kilmichael, Mississippi.

Mrs. Turner is the widow of the late Jimmy Lee Turner. Mrs. Turner is the daughter of the late Mary Earleen (Riley) English and John A. English.

Mrs. Turner leaves to mourn her father John English, four brothers: John Albert English of Houston, Texas; James E. English of Chicago, Illinois; Terry Hemphill of Cleveland, Ohio and Levon Hemphill of Cleveland, Ohio; seven sisters: Bobbie Jean Dotson of Kilmichael, Mississippi; Betty Jean Riley of Kansas City, Missouri; Mattie Margaret Murphy of Chicago, Illinois; Loretta English of Chicago, Illinois; Mary D. English of Chicago, Illinois; Jacqueline Hemphill of Cleveland, Ohio and Geraldine Hemphill of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons: Jimmie L. Turner of Kilmichael, Mississippi and Freddrick Turner of Jackson, Mississippi; three daughters: Diane Young of Winona, Mississippi, Gladys F. Turner of Kilmichael, Mississippi and Sheila R. Turner of Kilmichael, Mississippi. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and one great grandson.

** Elder Leonard Evans will officiate funeral services.

** Mrs. Dorothy Turner will be laid to rest at Elkhorn Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
