ELLA FRANCES (FORREST) ROBINSON

Ella Frances Forrest Robinson (Wankey) was born on April 19, 1939, to the late Elex Forrest, Sr. and Fannie Williams.  She was married to the late Redell Robinson, Sr.  To this union, three children were born.  Ella was called home on September 28, 2019.

She confessed Christ at an early age.  She was a member of Columbiana U. M. Church.  She served on the Usher Board and was a choir member.  A member of the Traveling Stars gospel group, she was known for being the Best Babysitter in the world.  She was also a very friendly person who never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elex Forrest, Sr. and mother, Fannie Williams; son, Redell Robinson, Jr., one sister and five brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Sharon Robinson Petty; son, Melvin (Lydia) Robinson; two brothers: Elex (Francis) Forrest, Jr. and Julius Forrest; five (5) sisters: Maggie McNeil, Lorrine Williams, Pearlie Johnson, Mary (Larry) Fox and Army (Rudolph) Hobbs; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
