Mrs. Doris Odell (Scott) Raiford

Mrs. Doris Odell Raiford passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017, at The Vaiden Community Living Center. Mrs. Raiford was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 12, 1919. She was the widow of Garland Edward Raiford. She was preceded in death by her son Garland Edward Raiford, II. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She worked her way through Bee Dew Beauty College in Memphis, Tennessee as a housekeeper. She became a hair stylist.  She retired from Nursing in 1984 from being employed at Hutze11 Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
