JOHN HENRY WARD

Obituary

John Henry was born to Otis and Ruth Lee Ward on April 22, 1956 in Vaiden,  Mississippi.  He was the baby boy out of five siblings. John was a great provider, good father, hard-working, easy going and he got alone well with others.  He enjoyed being outdoors, watching television, spending time with his family and friends.  John work for Trac Work until 2015.

John departed this life and gained his wings on February 17, 2023 at AMG Specialty Hospital-North Mississippi in Batesville, Mississippi surrounded by his loved ones. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Mae; his mother, Ruth Lee; his father, Otis; his brother, Otis Jr.; his sister, Ruby Skinner and one granddaughter, My’Esha Bibbs.  He is loved and will be greatly missed.

John leaves to cherish his precious memories:  three children, son Undra (Denise) Bibbs of Phenix City, AL; two daughters, Tyronda Bibbs and Lakita (DeAnthony) Sanders of Winona, MS;  seven grandchildren, Triunna Bibbs, Ja’Kobe Bibbs, Cameron Bibbs, Jaylen Bibbs, Tyler Bibbs, DeAnthony Sanders and Jamarion Sanders; his sister Gladys DeVoe of Tupelo, MS; his brother, Jessie (Orra Lee) Ward of     Vadien, MS; two sister-in-laws, Ann Pritchett of Winona, MS and Martha Russell of Saginaw, MI; two brother-in-laws, Larry Russell and Walter Bibbs of Saginaw, MI and a host of loving godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
