VINCENT SMALL, SR. Obituary
Vincent “DeeDee” Wayne Small Sr. was born July 19, 1965 to Bessie Small Gee Greenlee in Kilmichael, MS. He was the baby of eight children. He departed this life on January 24, 2022.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Winona, MS. He was a graduate of Winona High School, Class of 1985. Vincent served twenty-four years in the Military and as an officer with the Winona Police Department for 20 years.
Vincent was united in holy matrimony to Shonqilla Small for sixteen years. He loved church, his wife, kids, and grandkids more than anything in this world. He was a loving, caring husband, father, and granddad. Vincent never met a stranger. He loved to fish, the outdoors, and his dog. He was his kid’s person-al mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Small Gee Greenlee and his eldest brother, Thomas Gee.
Vincent leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Shonqilla Small of Vaiden, MS; his four children, Lacassey Woods Flowers (Brandon) of Tupelo, MS, Lakedra Small of Horn Lake, MS, Vincent Small, Jr. and Vintrell Small of both of Tupelo, MS; five grandchildren, Bryson Flowers, Lillian Moore, Mikhi Brown, Addiyson Small and Bailee Small; two sisters, Rebecca Washington and Bessie Moore (Charles) both of Winona, MS; four brothers, Willie O. Gee (Diane) of Eupora, MS, Taylor Golden, Curtis Golden and Victor Small all of Winona, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends far and near.
